The biggest things people forget on their wedding day

Here is a list of some of the biggest things that brides and grooms forget about on their wedding day.

  1. Water. We can’t tell you how many times we’ve seen it… the groomsmen show up with cases and cases of beer, whiskey, seltzers, and everything in between. After an hour or two of drinking, you think to yourself— “I could really use some water”. But guess what? There isn’t any, and its 85 degrees outside, and the whiskey is really starting to hit. Things can do downhill really fast from here, so make sure to come prepared. Remember, once the caterers leave, they tend to take their soft drinks with them, so you’re on your own after dinner.

  2. Assigning roles to your bridal party for the end of the night. You’ve had a long wedding day. From hair and makeup, to the ceremony, to pictures, to the reception, to sendoff— it’s been a whirlwind of a day. The sendoff is complete. You and your new spouse are headed back to your hotel room. And now….it’s time to clean up. There’s cake, and gifts, and food, and flowers, and cases of unopened beer everywhere. But there’s one BIG problem— all of your bridemaids and groomsmen have left, and the only person left behind to tackle the chaos is dad. Once dad realizes that he’s left to clean this mess up himself, he’s going to get VERY, VERY angry. And if he can’t manage to get everything cleaned and packed away in time, there’s a decent chance that the venue may charge your security deposit. Don’t leave dad in a bind like this. Have a plan.

  3. Ice. It’s not that people forget about ice. The issue here is that people tend to undershoot. When it comes to ice, you’d rather have too much than too little, especially if you plan on having mixed drinks at the bar. You’d be amazed at how fast it can go when everyone is drinking gin & tonics.
